Dementia Support

Our Dementia Engagement worker will work with people who are living with Dementia to access services they need to keep them living well, we offer a range of activities, from Memory Teas, Memory Cafés, to Reminiscence and Singing Groups, enabling you to continue to enjoy life in a supportive environment.
We welcome and encourage carers to come along too as we understand the value of peer support you will get from other carers in the group. We have a Dementia specific Advice and Information service, which can help you get all of your entitlements, maximise your income and support with form filling, Blue Badge Applications, wills and lasting power of attorney.

Talking Therapies with Vita Health

Search are pleased to partner with VITA Health, who are the Providers of IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies) in Newcastle. Search Employ a Community Link worker who will raise awareness of talking therapies amongst people aged 50+ living in Newcastle.

We can provide support to people aged 50+ to access talking therapy and for those who come through talking therapy, we will help them to access services and activities city wide that will continue to support and improve their wellbeing.
